Socket welding flange refers to the flange that the end of the pipe is inserted into the flange ring ladder and welded at the pipe end and outside. There are two types with and without neck. The neck pipe flange has good rigidity, small welding deformation and good sealing performance, and can be used for the occasions with pressure of 1.0 ~ 10.0MPa. Type B flange for vessels is also a socket welding flange, which is used for occasions with high sealing requirements. In design, socket welding flange can be checked as integral flange.
